Background and Fingerprinting for Licensure

Registration is required before you visit the IdentoGO location for Fingerprinting and Background.

  1. Go to IdentoGO by IDEMIA

  2. Enter Service Code 2BH23R and Get Started (ORI# NM920140Z reason code: Teacher Licensure)

  3. Start New Enrollment 

  4. Check the acknowledgement and continue

  5. Fill out the required fields marked with a red asterisk *

  6. Review your registration and proceed to the payment screen

Bring the following to your appointment:

  • Bring a valid photo ID, and;

  • Bring your Confirmation ID Number

Please Remember:

  • When you register at IdentoGo you will need to pay a $67 fee via credit card.

  • Be sure to print or save the registration form provided to you.

  • Be sure to keep your receipt of proof that you have completed your background check.

Your background check results will be sent directly to the NMPED. IdentoGO and APS do not have access to your results. Upon completion, please forward licensure@aps.edu a copy of your registration confirmation receipt.
