Labor Relations is responsible for bargaining and administering negotiated agreements with the district's labor unions, and for representing the district at grievance hearings and arbitrations.

The Albuquerque Federation of Classified Professionals (AFCP) was formerly known as the Albuquerque Educational Assistants Association (AEEA) and Albuquerque Secretarial/Clerical Association Union (ASCA).

Albuquerque Public Schools Principals' Association (APSPA)
Principals and assistant principals are eligible for membership. For more information, contact Executive Director Andrea Trybus by email at trybus@aps.edu.
Educational Administrators and Support Personnel Association (EASPA)
- All APS employees in the Management Staff Exempt (MSN/E), Professional Support Exempt (PSN/E), Computer Support Exempt (CSN/E) and Administrative Executive Support (ESN) payroll groups are eligible for membership. All requests for membership are accepted.
- A payroll deduction to cover dues is required and the Application for EASPA Membership must be completed, signed and submitted to:
- Charlene Lippert, EASPA Secretary, or
- Joycelyn Jackson, EASPA Treasurer
- The membership form will be forwarded to the Payroll Department to start the deduction of $3.33 per paycheck for 24 pay periods.
There is no binding document. A written request to Payroll or to the EASPA treasurer is all that is necessary to stop the dues payment to disenroll from the organization.
