Discover 5 APS Benefits You'll Wish You Knew About Sooner!
APS Employee Benefits offers a robust suite of services for all employees. Check out this quick list of benefits we think you'll wish you knew about sooner!
It's that headslap moment when you think, "I never knew I had that benefit!" Or an employee says, "I've been here four years and never knew that was available!" So, you may be "today years old" when you learn about some of these APS benefits below.
Most of us don't engage with our benefits until a direct need or an urgent, critical situation emerges. Then, unfortunately, we're frantically looking for resources and trying to navigate health plans, apps, and virtual care while under stress. Wouldn't it be nice to have all that lined up ahead of time?
We'd like you to be prepared and know about the suite of services you have now, so that if and/or when you need something, you know APS Benefits has your back (or your hip, knee, teeth, or virtual primary care)!
While it is hard to pick and choose, we're just getting started with this list:
The Top 5 APS Benefits You'll Wish You Knew About Sooner!

3. Delta Dental Teledentistry
I know, how in the world do you do virtual dentistry, and isn't that a little 'ick'? Turns out - No! If you've ever had an after-hours or out-of-town dental emergency, you know how painful that experience can be. The Delta Dental teledentistry services can help when:
- You have a dental emergency, and you do not have a dentist.
- You need access to a dentist after hours, and your dentist is not available.
- You would like to consult with a dentist without leaving home or while traveling.
Benefits of Teledentistry for Emergency Care
Delta Dental Virtual Visits are a safe and effective way to receive care and avoid the emergency room. The TeleDentistry.com dentist will provide an initial consultation and can write prescriptions when appropriate. The TeleDentistry.com dentist cannot prescribe controlled substances or write international prescriptions. If additional dental care is needed, TeleDentistry.com will refer you to a dentist in the Delta Dental network for a definitive diagnosis and treatment. Your dentist will also receive notes on your consultation with TeleDentistry.com for further treatment. It's that easy!
Ahem...by the way, have you scheduled your teeth cleaning? What about the kids? It's part of your preventive plan, so scoot on over to your Delta Dental of New Mexico website and let's get that done!
