Here is an overview of the wellness benefits provided for covered employees and dependents under each medical insurance plan.

When you enroll in APS Benefits you receive an integrated, holistic approach to your health and well-being. We work with each health plan carrier to ensure APS employees receive access to care, quality care management services, and outreach programs to serve you and your family's health and wellness needs. 

About Gym Membership Options

All reduced-cost gym membership options are completely administered through your health plan provider. Please go to your member portal via the information below to learn more about this benefit and/or to sign up. 

New Hinge Health! Do You Suffer From Joint & Muscle Pain? 

Hinge  Health is a new virtual physical therapy solution to help people with joint and muscle pain.

Hinge Health is available at no cost to employees covered under the APS Benefits plans and eligible dependents.   

Livongo -  For all employees and dependents covered under APS Benefits

Livongo is an integrated program for diabetes, high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, and weight loss. Livongo offers wrap-around, integrated mental health services. This program is open to all eligible employees and dependents covered under APS Benefits.

Get your life back and manage diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity with this personalized program. Livongo helps manage diabetes, high blood pressure, and weight loss easier. Participants receive one-on-one expert coaching and integrated tools to manage blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight loss. Livongo is short for live on the go!

Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS-NM)

BCBS-NM members and covered dependents can visit the BCBS-NM APS Member SIte for access to member tools and resources – including digital ID cards and virtual/telehealth medical and mental health services. Most benefits below can be accessed through a single sign-on to your Blue Access for Members account, then choosing the "Wellness" tab.

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield: MDLIVE Virtual or Telehealth care *Offers mental and behavioral healthcare services. No copay for MDLive virtual or telehealth care visits. *Local healthcare provider telehealth or virtual visits may have a copay.  Check this Know Where to Go graphic for reference. 
  • New! Learn to Live (PDF) digital mental health program for members and dependents aged 13 years and over. Personal coaching through phone, text, or email. Access the benefit through Blue Access for members/wellness/digital mental health. 
  • Fitness Plan (PDF) reduced gym membership options. Flexible virtual, local, and national networks. Plans range from $10/month for all virtual BurnAlong and LesMills+ class options to basic and elite club packages. *Access your Fitness Plan information via the Well on Target program.
  • Well on Target program includes health assessment, member dashboard, digital self-management programs, trackers and tools, interactive symptom checker, secured messaging, Blue 365 PointsSM rewards, tracking for fitness and nutrition and also device integration, personal wellness challenges, mobile app (AlwaysOn)
  • 24/7 Nurse Line 800-973-6329 to speak to a nurse about your symptoms and/or access a wide range of audio health topics (PDF).
  • Ovia Health: Family planning and healthy pregnancy 
  • Wondr Health: weight loss program (formerly Naturally Slim)

Cigna Health Plan

Cigna members have access to a wide range of healthcare resources. Members, and covered dependents, can visit the MyCigna Member Portal for provider finder, cost estimate, and symptom checker tools as well as digital ID cards and virtual/telehealth medical and mental health services.

  • Cigna Healthy Rewards discounts offer a $25/month nationwide gym membership discount and access, Daily Burn virtual fitness class options, Fitbit discounts, and more. Sign-up and learn more about Wellness Resources on the MyCigna Member Portal.
  • Cigna mental and behavioral health resources include virtual counseling/therapy services, lifestyle and weight management programs, smoking cessation programs, and iPrevail, TalkSpace, and Happify mental and behavioral health programs. 

Presbyterian Health Plan

Presbyterian Health Plan members, and covered dependents, can visit the Presbyterian Health Plan APS Member Site to access Presbyterian wellness tools and resources including digital ID cards and additional myPRES patient portal information. All the links and more information on the programs below are available through your myPres patient portal.

  • New! GetCareToday: Access one site for expanded virtual medical care services: virtual primary care, urgent care, mental health, and dermatology services.
  • Reduced cost on gym memberships through the Fitness Pass (PDF). *Members can enroll in the fitness pass anytime but must re-enroll annually in December. The link above is for 2024 fitness pass options. This is completely administered through your Presbyterian Health Plan. 
  • Video/virtual doctor visits and 24/7 PresRN nurse advice line. Offers mental/behavioral health services. No copay for Pres video visits or 24/7 PresRN line. *Local healthcare provider telehealth or virtual visits may have a copay. Check this Know Where to Go graphic for reference. 
  • TalkSpace: Virtual mental and behavioral health resources. Professional, personal, and confidential online therapy.
  • On to Better Health: Self-help behavioral health tools and resources at your fingertips. Access self-help tools 24 hours a day to help cope with common behavioral health matters. Connect with case managers during severe occurrences.
  • Clickotine Smoking cessation program: An innovative program that uses clinically driven app technology, with real-time social support, to help you create and stick to a quit plan to overcome nicotine cravings. 
  • Community Health Worker (CHW) Program: A unique program offering individual and family assistance for housing, food, utility, transportation, and navigating healthcare situations like pregnancy, asthma, diabetes, behavioral health, and more. Important Note About THNM Coverage

Due to THNM exiting the New Mexico marketplace, APS no longer offers THNM for employees beginning January 1, 2023. All employees and dependents had complete coverage, including wellness services, through December 31, 2022, and claims will continue to be processed for services rendered in 2022.
