The mission of the Business Systems Department is to advance district performance by delivering innovative solutions, strategic training and efficient systems that optimize organizational effectiveness.

Goals

1. Be an effective resource to the entire Albuquerque Public Schools district by providing responsive, reliable, and expert customer support to all APS stakeholders.
2. Facilitate the adoption of modern technologies, systems, and data by implementing and providing targeted training on the ERP system
3. Enhance collaboration among technology, business, and finance by aligning fiscal resources to maximize APS's impact on student education.

What We Do:

Business Systems provides support and project oversight of set-up and Operations for the District's Lawson ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System.  Business Systems is also responsible for establishing Standards and Documentation specific to the district’s use of Lawson ERP.

Business Systems helps facilitate collaboration between departments and users. Ad-hoc/scheduled Reporting and Support for system transaction issues are only a few of the vital contributions this department provides the district.
