Employee Group Definitions (for benefit premium deductions)

  • Bi-Monthly Employees = twice a month, 24 paychecks per year
For 2027, medical, dental, and vision premium rates will increase by 20.5%. We realize this is difficult for employees and families. As a reminder, during the 2026 NM Legislative Session, HB 47 was passed and signed by the Governor. Effective July 1, 2026, the cost share for voluntary medical, dental, and vision plan premiums is 80% APS and 20% enrolled employees. This means APS pays 80% of the premium and employees pay 20%, regardless of each benefits-eligible employee's annual salary.

Dental Plan Enhancement

Delta Dental offers Teledentistry Virtual Visits for after-hours and travel emergencies. The dental plan continues to include the Evidence-Based Dentistry program, which provides extra cleanings for specific at-risk groups.

Twice a Month Payroll Deductions

Deductions for your vision and dental insurance premiums will be taken from your paycheck on the 10th and 25th of each month. The amount shown below will be deducted from each paycheck.
