Vision Statement

All Albuquerque Public Schools early childhood programs provide exemplary practices in all-inclusive environments. 

Mission Statement

The Early Childhood Team will support schools in implementing developmentally appropriate best practices, in high-quality Early Childhood Classrooms for children and their families.

Collaborative Partnership

Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) with collaborative partners of YDI Head Start and City of Albuquerque Child Development Centers and other Pre-K providers are working to ensure all 4-year old students will have quality Pre-K services through a non-competitive process.

Other collaborative partners include: New Mexico Public Education Department, New Mexico Early Childhood Education & Care Department, UNM Center for Development & Disability, and One Albuquerque Family & Community Services.
