APS Preschool Enrollment

Learn about APS Preschool enrollment requirements and how to enroll in an APS Preschool program online with ParentVUE.

Pre-K Registration

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will open March 24, 2025 @ 9am. Visit ParentVUE/StudentVUE for helpful registration information.

Students must be 4 years old by August 31, 2025.
Students must be 3 years old by August 31, 2025 for our mixed 3s and 4s classrooms.
No transfer is needed for Pre-K students. (you'll need a transfer for kindergarten if your child is not attending their home school).
Parent must complete the "Pre-School Student Packet 2025-2026" on ParentVUE
In the Pre-School Student packet in ParentVUE parents/guardians will be required to choose up to 3 different schools. (Early childhood will try our best to accommodate to your choices)
We highly encourage that your child is school ready as our program runs along with APS schools and is not a daycare setting.
Parent/Guardians must provide schools all required documents.

When students are accepted and enrolled it is required that the teacher does a home visit with their student.

Remember that registration is not a guarantee because demand is higher than availability.

You will need to create a ParentVUE account to register your student. Review the ParentVUE Registration Instructions.
Select registration for the "Pre-school Packet 2024-2025" school year. OR "Pre-School Student Packet 2025-2026"
If you choose the wrong year you will need to do registration over.
Complete all tabs of the registration the last part is to upload documents or choose to hand deliver documents.

You can log into ParentVUE to enroll your student and add them to your ParentVUE account.
Select the correct year of online registration.
If you choose the wrong year you will need to do registration over.
Review all of your student's information in each tab, and double-check that your contact information and emergency contacts are up to date.

If your home school does not have an APS Preschool, allow the system to default to your home school.

Please select your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice and let us know your preferred school. (School Choices will determine where you child will be placed).

Parents/Guardians will receive a phone call or an email informing you with a spot by the school clerk or Early childhood office on May 1, 2025.

You will have up to 5 business days to accept and bring in documents to the school.

Once you have enrolled, you can log back into ParentVUE and see that you are waiting to be assigned.
