APS Schools with NM Pre-K & Open Spots
The following APS elementary schools, high schools, and charter schools provide Pre-K programs. We have now several new classrooms opening up that are 3 year old and 4 year old programs.
Albuquerque Public Schools Pre-K is a voluntary program for four-year-olds.
Students must be four years of age by August 31st and live within the attendance zone of Albuquerque Public School.
For the 2024-2025 school year we have been approved for several new classrooms which now includes 3 year old children at SOME programs.
For the general education 3 year old & 4 year old mixed classrooms we are prioritizing older children whose 4th birthday fall between September 2, 2024 - November 15, 2024.
We are now accepting younger 3 year olds who turn 4 by March 2025.
Just a reminder if your child is a 3 year old it doesn't mean they automatically get into Kindergarten, we still have to follow the age restrictions that they have to be 5 by August 31st to get into Kindergarten. However your child will be able to repeat Pre-K at their same program or another one.
To enroll your child, you will need to register on ParentVUE.
