From comprehensive public schools to schools with specialized focus areas such as International Baccalaureate, early college credit, STEM, arts, or dual language, APS has a school to match each student's unique interests and aspirations.

Enter your address in the Find My School web app to view your home school. Schools serving Kirtland Air Force Base Housing include:
- Sandia Base Elementary School (Grades K-5)
- Van Buren Middle School (Grades 6-8)
- Highland High School (Grades 9-12)
School Choice
From comprehensive public schools to schools with specialized focus areas such as International Baccalaureate, early college credit, STEM, arts, or dual language, APS has a school to match each student's unique interests and aspirations. Families who would like their child to attend an APS school outside their attendance area may submit a Transfer Request. Priority for school transfers is given to students with at least one parent on active military duty.
