Coronado Dual Language Magnet Elementary School

Coronado is a dual language magnet elementary school serving grades K-5.

Coronado Dual Language Magnet School emphasizes service learning and project-based learning with a two-way immersion program (TWI).

The dual-language curriculum uses an 80/20 model, which means that students starting out in kindergarten will receive 80 percent of their instruction in Spanish. As they progress through the grades, the percentage will increase. By fifth grade, students will receive 50/50 instruction in both languages.

Coronado students strive to enrich their community and their world by success as bi-literate, life-long learners.
