School-Based Health Centers Open

The centers are COVID-safe and open for on-site care and telemedicine.

Open to All Students

  • Open to all APS students and APS charter students (not adults).
  • Teens can call to make appointments for themselves to access confidential sexual and reproductive health services and behavioral health services.

No COVID Testing or Treatment

School-Based Health Centers don't provide COVID testing or treatment. Visit the NMDOH Coronavirus Site for testing and treatment information.

Services Provided

  • Behavioral Health: Emotional wellness screening and counseling, Therapy, Psychiatry, Substance abuse counseling and referrals when needed
  • Medical Care: Wellness exams, Vaccines, Sports physicals, Reproductive and sexual health services, Injury and illness care, Immunizations
  • Case Management: Available for students receiving care who need this service.
  • Dental Care: Cleaning, fluoride, and sealants are available at select sites:
