Background and Fingerprinting
APS conducts background checks on all prospective district employees (applicants who are offered employment), district contractors, district contractor's employees, and volunteers who might have unsupervised access to students.
ALERT: Effective immediately in order to allow for social distancing as recommended by public health officials:
- APS offices are staffed, however, due to concerns regarding the COVID 19 virus pandemic we are limiting visits from the general public.
- We encourage you conduct business needs via phone or email. If you need immediate assistance, please leave a voice mail. These will be transferred to individuals via email for response. If your issue does not require priority response during this time, please hold your requests until the emergency subsides.

Fingerprinting of Prospective Employees
To complete your pre-employment background check, you'll need to get fingerprinted at our City Center office. To be fingerprinted, bring a valid photo ID and $59. The $59 must be made payable by Credit/Debit Card.
