Taylor MS Reconstruction Project and Traffic Community Update
The Taylor MS Reconstruction Project involves a comprehensive rebuild of the existing school to modernize facilities, improve the learning environment and safety of the students. As construction progresses, APS is coordinating closely with the community to address traffic and other arising impacts.
The purpose of these series of meetings at Taylor MS is to address adjacent Community/property owners' concerns, give updates, and get feedback on the impacts of the ongoing Taylor Middle School renovation/rebuild project. Taylor MS is over 60 years old, and the facility is being replaced. At the same time, enrollment of the former Taft Middle School has been consolidated into Taylor MS. Taft Middle School is being repurposed into Coronado K-8 and all of the students from Taft (around 200) will begin attending school at Taylor this year (2025/26).
