Nursing Workforce Development Paid Nurse Aide Training Program No Matter Where You Look, You Can See Your Future In Genesis! "EARN AND LEARN" How Do I Apply? 1.) Schedule your interview with the HR Representative. Thinking of becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) but not sure where to begin? We are looking for motivated and compassionate individuals who care and want to make a difference in the lives of others. No experience necessary! Join our team today. We will cover the cost of your tuition and training fees for a state-approved nurse aide training program. We have been training and developing nurse aides for more than 20 years, with 10,000+ graduates and counting. Albuquerque Training Location: Genesis Albuquerque Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center 103 Hospital Loop NE Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109 How does it work and what does it pay? We offer state-approved nurse aide training at our Genesis-Albuquerque Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center located behind the Lovelace Women’s Hospital near San Mateo/Montgomery. The address is 103 Hospital Loop, NE Albuquerque, NM 87109. The center has obtained state regulatory body and instructor approval for a nurse aide training program. Participants are hired into a paid, non-patient care role in one of our skilled nursing facilities (see center directory and map to find the center you want to apply to and return to work at once you complete your 3-week training program at the ABQ Heights location). During this period of employment, we cover the cost of our state-approved nurse aide training program while providing on-the-job support and experience. Upon successful completion of the training program, participants receive their Certificate of Completion which allows them to work at the center they were hired at while they wait to take the State of NM CNA examination to get CNA licensed. We have two Paid Nurse Aide Training Program classes each month. Both classes are Monday through Friday for 3-weeks. One class is from 8am to 4pm. The other class is from 10am to 6pm. Let the HR Representative/Workforce Specialist know which class time works best for you. Participants are paid $11.50 per hour during the 3-week class. The pay rate increases to a minimum of $15.50 per hour once you successfully complete the class. Genesis HealthCare requires a 6-month work commitment from you in exchange for your free Paid Nurse Aide Training Program. We want you to be successful and happy with where you work. We want you on our team but, if after 6-months of working with us as a CNA, you want to move on to another company or career path we would certainly wish you the best. We have assistance and support programs for CNA’s that want to advance to CMA/LPN/LVN/RN. Tardiness and absentees will result in Final Dismissal from the class. There is a lot to learn in this 3-week class so if you are not consistently on-time and fully present you will not be successful in this program.
