Outstanding Corporate Partner
The APS Education Foundation is excited to announce PNM as their 2024 Outstanding Corporate Partner.
PNM supports the community, the APS Education Foundation, and education in general.
The APS Education Foundation Outstanding Corporate Partner must have made an impactful monetary contribution, meaning that their contribution to the Foundation’s grant programs has shown student impact. In addition, they are supporting monetarily district programs and initiatives. They must have devoted time to the Foundation and the district through acts of volunteerism on behalf of their employees, attendance at Foundation events, or by actively engaging with grant recipients by visiting classrooms, and meeting with students, families, and or teachers. PNM has demonstrated its passion and support for Albuquerque Public Schools.
PNM has a long history of proudly supporting the APS communities. This support has included the APS Education Foundation. They also partner with other educational institutions because PNM believes that backing education will help develop future talent and contribute to the overall growth and well-being of our state.
PNM offers classroom Energy Efficiency information to students to help them learn about the ways they can save on electricity. Employees visit various schools and provide visual presentations about how best to save money on electric bills. PNM also leads the annual School Supply Drive where employees donate much-needed school supplies and funds to teachers. They participate in coat and food drives, and campus cleanups, judge science fairs, and volunteer at the APS clothing bank. PNM also provides emotional support to schools in need in compassionate and meaningful ways, not only for students and staff but for families.
This partnership goes beyond just dollars toward helping student programs, it is a personal, consistent, and active commitment of time and attention by PNM employees.
