Words Matter Campaign
The Words Matter Campaign was created to remind everyone that language has power. The way we speak to and about one another can build belonging, dignity and trust.
About Words Matter
The Words Matter Campaign was created to remind everyone that language has power. The way we speak to and about one another can build belonging, dignity and trust.
Since this concern came from students, student voice should shape the solutions. We want to hear directly from students about what messages, visuals and ideas would actually make this campaign meaningful and effective in APS schools.
Campaign Implementation
Our office is working with students and staff across the district to implement Words Matter campaigns. If you are a student or staff member interested in helping to lead the campaign at your school, please reach out to us or add your APS email when you submit the Words Matter Survey.
