Check Your APS Choices

Learn about the many learning opportunities APS has to offer.

APS is showcasing its schools during the last week of October through a series of school community fairs. It also hosts an annual School Choice Fair in October featuring magnet and charter schools.

But you don't have to attend these fairs to learn more about the many educational opportunities APS provides students. Albuquerque Public Schools has something for everyone from dual language and dual credit, career-based and college-based learning, college prep and marketable job skills, fine arts and competitive sports. 

"Education is personal. It needs to be responsive to the needs of the individual. Sometimes that requires new programs, classes, activities, pathways, support systems, maybe even schools," said APS Superintendent Scott Elder. "To ensure students get the education they deserve, we need to give them choices and help them find the right fit for them and their families."
