For families who want to play an active role in their child’s education, APS offers a model that blends the structure of school with learning at home.

At Coyote Willow Family School and Desert Willow Family School, students split their time between the classroom and home, with about half to 80% of learning taking place at school and the rest guided by families.

In the classroom, students engage in hands-on, multi-age learning focused on problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking.

At home, families extend that learning through projects and daily instruction, supported by teachers and a clear framework.
