Dual Language (K-12)

Building bilingual, biliterate students ready for a multilingual world.

At APS, students can learn in two languages—most often English and Spanish, with some programs also offering other languages, including Navajo (Diné).

Families have options. Dual language programs teach academic subjects in two languages and build fluency over time. Bilingual programs help students develop English while strengthening their home language.

Students can earn a bilingual seal on their high school diploma, showing colleges and employers they are proficient in two languages. These programs build confidence and prepare students for college, careers, and a multilingual world.
