Photovoltaic panels

Photovoltaic (PV) panels were installed at 10 sites

APS started installing PV solar systems into all new construction a few years ago. New PV installation that was completed or started in the 2015-16 fiscal year includes:

• Atrisco Elementary School
• Reginald Chavez Elementary School
• Wherry Elementary School
• Marie Hughes Elementary School
• Onate Elementary Schools
• Ernie Pyle Middle School
• Jefferson Middle School
• West Mesa Middle School 
• Rio Grande High School
• Career Enrichment Center

Every PV panel installed must have a monitoring system that accurately tracks the power generation of that unit.
