Reimbursement
Students that are enrolled with the Native American department can be reimbursed for various fees. These may include lab fees for core classes, college day, cap and gown, SAT/ACT fees.
Eligibility
Eligible students are those who have a completed 506 Form (PDF) and/or a Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) Letter (PDF) on file in our office.
How to Request Reimbursement
The reimbursements are dependent on availability of Johnson O’Malley and Impact Aid funds.
- To receive a reimbursement, you must submit an original receipt for item(s) you purchased.
- All reimbursements for coursework must be confirmed with a successful passing grade.
- The receipts will be brought and/or emailed to Martinez_lydia@aps.edu, Indian Education Bookkeeper. The department office is located at 6400 Uptown Blvd NE Suite 460 West.
Qualifying Items
Students may receive reimbursement and/or assistance for the following (2 only):
- Cap and Gown fees for graduating seniors only ($47 maximum)
- SAT fees (1 time)
- ACT fees (1 time)
- Advanced Placement exam fees
- On line Core Course fees (for courses not offered during the regular school year and/or offered through GradPoint or eCADEMY)
- College application fees to high school seniors up to a maximum of $100 for the first 50 students who apply this school year.
- Eyeglasses for those students who qualify under Title 1.
