Site Supervisor: Position Available to External and Internal Applicants

About the Position

DSN 8 is a Site Supervisor at the Middle or High School Cafeterias.  To be eligible to apply for this position, you must speak English, have a high school diploma or GED, experience in food services, NMSFSA certification (preferred at time of selection but is mandatory within two years of employment), knowledge of food preparation, basic nutrition, equipment usage and maintenance, and successfully pass the prerequisite training class offered by APS Food & Nutrition Services, once or twice a year.

Prefer applicants who have knowledge of safety and sanitation and federal and state regulations, keyboarding/computer and record keeping skills, ability to follow oral and written directions, and the ability to provide leadership and correlate well with people.

Both Internal and External applicants can apply for vacancies as long as the class has been successfully completed. The Site Supervisor position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the operation of all serving lines, a la carte sales, snack bars and special programs at the school location.
