IK Academic Accountability

Albuquerque Public Schools will comply with all state and federally mandated student assessments. The superintendent, or designee, will establish a districtwide assessment strategy to be followed by all schools to inform student instruction, ensure student learning and equity, and for monitoring and accountability.  The superintendent will report to the Board of Education on the district's progress in achieving goals, as required by Policy IH.

Albuquerque Public Schools will periodically report to families the academic progress of their students. Schools will use the district’s standardized electronic grade book that is accessible to parents and students, and ensure grades are up-to-date and finalized by the district’s designated due dates.

The superintendent, or designee, will establish a district wide school accountability system or performance framework to ensure transparency of outcomes and effective allocation of district resources.
