Our Mission: To support teachers in implementing meaningful programs of study that align to NM Economic Priority Sectors and prepare students in their chosen career pathway and transition plan.

The City of ABQ's Youth Job Fair is right around the corner! 

Please help the young people you work with prepare for these cool opportunities! 

Where: Berna Facio Professional Development Center (3315 Louisiana NE, 87110) 

When: Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Who: Youth ages 14-25 looking for work or to volunteer 

• Transportation will be available from selected City Community Centers – youth must visit the website and register to access the transportation benefit.  
•  New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions will have a room available for resume preparation and review, interview skill building, and other career readiness needs.  
• A parent lounge will also be available so that youth can explore opportunities independently. The lounge will include additional resources parents and supports can access such as banking, youth labor law, and more!

Explore The Trades in 2022

Create an amazing learning opportunity for your students by bringing the trades into your classroom!

Resources are available for both new skills labs and refurbishments to existing training spaces. Middle schools AND high schools are eligible to apply.
