NMCTSOs
Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)
Career and technical student organizations (CTSOs) are organizations that support Career Pathways primarily based in high schools, colleges and career technology centers. The State of New Mexico and Albuquerque Public Schools define CTSOs as "integral parts" of the high school and middle school education program.
New Mexico CTSOs include:
- BPA (Business Professionals of America)
- DECA (formerly Distributive Education Clubs of America)
- FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America)
- FFA (formerly Future Farmers of America)
- HOSA-Future Health Professionals (formerly Health Occupations Students of America)
- SkillsUSA (formerly Vocational Industrial Clubs of America)
- TSA (Technology Student Association)
- Educators Rising (formerly Future Teachers of America)
This video further explains how New Mexico CTSOs (NMCTSOs) work and their value for adding skills to ensure successful transitions to college and careers.
