Tips
- Place the code into the Replacements section above the page Title. Doesn't work when pasted into the body text HTML option.
- Replacements are available to web managers only. Unavailable to webmasters.
- Set the value in src="" to map's embed src=""
- Alt text should describe the map generally, and indicate that the locations on your map are listed elsewhere on the page
- Web content option (list, table, etc) must be available for accessibility purposes
- Generally, place the map at the bottom of your page. You may need to add a heading above the map to maintain logical heading order on the page you're embedding the map.
- Double-check that link text below your map is unique if you have a page with multiple embedded maps.
- Double-check that the default view makes sense: it isn't too zoomed in or out.
