JL3 Emergency Medical Services and Do Not Resuscitate Orders - July 2024 Revision

The following board policies have been archived. Most have been replaced by the corresponding administrative procedural directive.
Albuquerque Public Schools shall provide all students and staff with immediate first aid and emergency medical services when a medical crisis or life-threatening episode occurs on district property. If a student has a written Do Not Resuscitate Order (DNR) from their attending physician, school personnel, who qualify as a person who needs to know and is formally informed of and is trained on the provisions of the Do Not Resuscitate Order, shall act in accordance with the order and refrain from medical interventions that are not consistent with the order.
