No school or class may be dismissed before the regular hour for dismissal except with the approval from the office of the Superintendent or the Superintendent's designee.

Except in appropriate circumstances, custody of a student will not be relinquished by school personnel to any person without the approval of the parent or guardian having legal custody. In every case of an arrest of a student authorities must attempt to notify the student's parent/guardian.
