Albuquerque Public Schools shall maintain the quality of the educational environment in each school regardless of size and location.
The superintendent, or his/her designee, shall develop technical criteria outlining the following for each school facility:
- School Enrollment Projections
- Enrollment Capacity
- Facility Space Utilization
- Facility Educational Adequacy
- Site Adequacy
- Facility and Site Safety Standards
These technical criteria, together with instructional priorities/needs and other district priorities, shall be the primary source for facility design, construction, and additions/upgrades of district facilities.
