@Home Summer Learning Resources

APS @Home will provide daily televised lessons in reading, writing, and math for grades K-5 this summer. Through a joint venture with New Mexico PBS, lessons will air weekdays from 8 a.m. to noon on KNME, channel 5.

and Printable Lesson Materials

KNME PBS @Home Broadcasting

The District is providing resources and opportunities for students to continue learning during the summer. New summer lessons begin on Monday, June 15. Printable learning materials are paired with the lessons.

  • The grade-level lessons air on the hour between 8 a.m. and noon on KNME Channel 5.1. 
  • The YouTube episodes are published at 8 a.m. on the day they are aired.
  • Students should have paper, pencil, and coloring utensils on hand for each lesson.

About the Learning Resources

The learning resources are created and in Google Docs. Albuquerque Public Schools uses Google tools for classroom collaboration within the academic community. Because Google runs on PC or Mac web browsers. Students can work from almost any family computer without having to purchase new software.
