Art Mart

For the second year in a row, the Albuquerque Public Schools Visual and Performing Arts department will sponsor a district-wide Art Mart. There will be over 50 APS high school student vendors selling original art, prints, and a variety of handmade goods.

Art Mart got its start at Albuquerque High School and is now an event held at five other high schools. This is a great opportunity for any high school student in the district to become a vendor, share their artistic talents, become young entrepreneurs and contribute to New Mexico's creative industries.

Students applied by watching video interviews with two local artist-entrepreneurs, then reflected on the tips shared. Students also provided information on the type of work they would have for sale. High school students from all across the city will be represented.
