2025-2026
APS Transition Fair
Wednesday, April 8, 2026, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
District event helps students with disabilities explore services, training and opportunities for adulthood.
This event is designed to help students with disabilities and their families explore community resources, support services, and postsecondary opportunities as they prepare for life beyond high school. Representatives from several organizations will be on hand to share information and answer questions.
Families can learn about a wide range of topics including district resources, counseling, college and vocational training, employment opportunities, and independent living support. Information about benefits, guardianship and the New Mexico Developmental Disabilities Waiver will also be available.
The fair is an important opportunity for families to connect directly with programs and services that can help students plan for the future with confidence.
Spanish interpreters will be available to support families attending the event.
For more information, families can contact Kristine Sanchez or Dina Van Dyke.
