APS Kindergarten Roundup

Parents and guardians of incoming kindergarteners are invited to learn about Albuquerque Public Schools' programs and register for the 2026-27 school year.

The Kindergarten Roundup is a district-wide initiative designed to welcome families and showcase the exceptional kindergarten opportunities available within APS. This event provides families with the opportunity to connect with APS staff, learn about kindergarten programs and supports, interact with various district departments, and complete the registration process for their child’s first formal educational experience.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with elementary school representatives, curriculum partners, and APS department staff who will be available to answer questions and provide information about kindergarten programs and services. Incoming kindergartners will receive a free book along with an additional learning resource to support their early learning journey. Multilingual support and comprehensive resources will be available to ensure all families feel confident and informed as they prepare to join the APS community.
