To ensure the Albuquerque Public School District continues to provide adequate classroom and school facilities to the students of the district, APS shall continuously monitor facility utilization and capacity through a central online data input and analysis center. This analysis center allows officials from each school in the district to add and update facility and student information through the internet allowing an online application to automatically analyze the data after each addition or change.  The APS Capital Master Plan (CMP) Department shall be responsible for:

  1. Training school officials and departments in using the online data collecting tools.
  2. Maintaining the online tools ensuring the data is accurate and the applications are performing correctly.
  3. Receiving the analysis reports to frequently asses the facility utilization and capacity of each school.

The analysis reports for each school will include the following:

  1. Identification of the number of classrooms needed to accommodate a given enrollment based on State Pupil Teacher Ratios at a given schedule.
  2. Identification of the number of classrooms available on the site.
  3. Identification current utilization based on current program.
