Student Behavior Handbook Distribution October 2010 Revision

School authorities shall distribute a copy of the Albuquerque Public Schools Student Behavior Handbook to all students or parents/legal guardians on an annual basis. Copies shall be distributed at the beginning of the school year, and to new students as they are enrolled.
The Albuquerque Public Schools Student Behavior Handbook shall be reviewed by the director of the Student, School and Community Service Center and the Board of Education on an annual basis, at which time suggested amendments or additions submitted by administrators, teachers, students, and other interested persons shall be considered. The director of the Student, School and Community Service Center shall solicit input from the superintendent’s leadership team for recommended changes to the Student Behavior Handbook in February of each year. Recommendation for changes to the Student Behavior Handbook shall be submitted to the director of the Student, School and Community Service Center before March 1 of each year. It shall be the responsibility of the director of the Student, School and Community Service Center to compile these recommendations for change to the Student Behavior Handbook.
