Position Review Process - May 1997 Revision

Upon official determination of a vacancy (new position or existing position) the following documents will be submitted by the supervisor to the office of the Compensation Analyst in the Human Resources Department.

  1. Position advertisement
  2. Position Description
  3. Physical Demands Requirements
  4. Request to Advertise

Review

Staffing requested for existing positions will be reviewed by the Compensation Analyst. Unless otherwise authorized, the time from initial request to employment of the selected candidate will depend upon the amount of accrued leave the employee vacating the position is using. The period of pre-termination payment of leave cannot overlap the new employee’s commencement of employment.
