Notice: This policy was reviewed, revised, and/or renamed. We provide this revision for historic purposes only. Please see our current policies and procedural directives.
Priorities and Inventory
The Assistant Superintendents for Instruction and/or designees will determine the priorities for the movement of portable buildings.
The Maintenance & Operations (M&O) division will keep an up-to-date inventory of all portable buildings.
Each year, an on-site inspection of each portable building will be made to validate the inventory by M&O.
Movement of Buildings
Portable buildings will be moved as they are needed at APS sites according to the priorities set by the Assistant Superintendents for Instruction.
The property manager will monitor changes in staffing, program, or new construction projects and will confer with the Chief, Facilities Planning and Operations and the Assistant Superintendents for Instruction.
The property manager will then issue a building movement order that will be carried out by M&O.
The property manager will distribute the movement order to all interested parties.
