IH7 Instructional Credit Acceptance 2013 revised

Albuquerque Public Schools shall maintain a rigorous instructional program for all its students and expects all students to meet the same standards for earned instructional credits.  The superintendent, or his/her designee, shall establish specific requirements for acceptance of an instructional credit from a non-Albuquerque Public Schools entity that guarantee the instructional credit was earned in a comparably rigorous environment, as outlined in administrative procedural directive.  Those non-Albuquerque Public Schools entities shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Public schools in other states
  • Private schools
  • Home school programs
  • State-authorized charter schools
  • Locally-authorized charter schools
  • Correspondence course providers
  • Non-accredited institutions
