Textbooks

Required textbooks will be issued free to students. The Superintendent or the Superintendent’s designee is responsible for establishing and enforcing rules and regulations relating to textbooks.

Every student will have a textbook for each class that conforms to curriculum requirements and that allows students to take those textbooks home.

Students will make compensation in case of lost, destroyed or unnecessarily damaged textbooks.

Additional Instruction Materials

The Board of Education will make provision in its annual budget for the purchase of library books and instructional materials to supplement the textbooks provided by the State. Videotapes, DVDs, and multi-media products will be selected and utilized to provide support to instructional learning as established in the District and State Content Standards and Benchmarks.
