CG Probationary Status of Schools and/or Specific Programs - September 2016 Revised

The superintendent has the authority to place schools and/or specific programs on probation at his/her discretion if the superintendent believes probationary status will direct needed improvements at the school or in the specific program. Schools and/or specific programs placed on probation shall be required to develop and implement an improvement plan to make necessary changes that are in the best interest of students and the district. The superintendent shall closely monitor schools and/or specific programs on probation and inform the Board of Education regarding the school and/or specific program’s status.
