BI1 Board of Education per Diem and Mileage - July 2024 Revision

Board members shall be entitled to receive per diem pursuant to the Per Diem and Mileage Act and applicable state regulation. The amount of per diem and mileage paid for attendance for board and committee meetings are specified in the Per Diem and Mileage Act.
The Per Diem and Mileage Act also includes advisory boards appointed by the Board of Education.
For overnight travel on Board of Education business, per diem shall be allowed provided that the travel is more than thirty-five (35 miles) from the Board of Education member’s home of record or designated post of duty.
