BG - Board of Education Policy Development, Adoption, Revision and Revocation August 2010 Revision

The Board of Education may develop and adopt operational and instructional policies for Albuquerque Public Schools in accordance with applicable state law and regulation.  The Board of Education may develop, review and revise any policy established by the Board of Education through a majority vote of the Board of Education members.  The Board of Education may suspend or revoke any policy established by the Board of Education that is not specifically prescribed by federal or state statute through a majority vote of the Board of Education members.

The superintendent shall implement Board of Education policy through administrative procedural directive(s).
