Public Forum Focusing on Bullying

Meetings will be held at Sandia on Sept. 18, and LBJ on Sept. 20.

Albuquerque Public Schools has scheduled two community forums covering the important topic of bullying. They are set for Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Sandia High School, and Thursday, Sept. 20, at LBJ Middle School. Both meetings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. 

The meetings will include work in small groups, where attendees will discuss identification of bullying situations and possible solutions. Brooks and chief operations officer Brad Winter will open the meetings, and executive director of APS Student, Family and Community Supports Kristine Meurer will present a definition of bullying. 

The public is encouraged to attend.
