Preschool/Pre-K Registration Opening Day!

Preschool registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens Feb. 23, 2026 at 9 a.m.

Pre-K/Preschool Registration for 2026-2027 will open Feb. 23, 2026 at 9 a.m.

Enrollment Requirements:

  • Students must be 4 years old by Aug. 31, 2026 for the 4s-only classrooms.
  • Students must be 3 years old by Aug. 31, 2026 for the mixed 3s and 4s classrooms.
  • No transfer is needed for Pre-K students. (You'll need a transfer for kindergarten if your child is not attending their home school).
  • Students MUST be within the APS district boundary, if your address is within another school district (not APS) you must attend that district.
  • Parent must complete the "Pre-School Student Packet 2026-2027" on ParentVUE. If you complete the incorrect school year, you will need to redo the registration with the correct school year. (Keep in mind this might put your child lower on the school class list if the correct year is not selected)
  • In the Pre-School Student packet in ParentVUE parents/guardians will be required to choose up to 3 different schools. (The Early childhood department will try our best to accommodate to your choices)
  • We highly encourage that your child is school ready as our program runs along with APS schools and is not a daycare/childcare setting. APS Preschool is a structured learning environment in all our classrooms. 
  • Parent/Guardians must provide schools all required documents. Parents will have 30days to bring in documentation if it is not already uploaded into the Registration packet. However we highly suggest uploading documentation for a smooth process.
    • Three proofs of address (linked accepted proofs of address)
    • Birth Certificate (to confirm DOB)
    • Emergency contacts & Phone numbers 
    • Immunization Records
    • Custodial documents (if applicable)
  • When students are accepted and enrolled it is required that the teacher does a home visit with their student. 

Remember that completing a Preschool registration is not a guarantee to a spot at the school of your choice(s) because APS Preschool classrooms are in high demand more than availability.
