APS Shifts to NFHS Network for Athletics Streaming

Annual pass now available at lower cost.

Albuquerque Public Schools is changing its streaming platform for athletic competitions, announcing a transition to the NFHS Network for the upcoming school year.

The move comes after the district’s previous contract with Game Vision expired, prompting a new request for proposal process. Following that review, the district selected the NFHS Network, a nationwide organization. Under the new agreement, a percentage of revenue generated by the platform will be reinvested into APS athletics.

“We are confident that NFHS will provide a better experience for fans,” said Adrian Ortega, executive director of athletics and facilities at APS. “Most school districts we compete against use this same platform.”

For fans, the transition offers a more cost-effective option for viewing games. An annual pass for the NFHS Network is priced at $79.99, which district officials noted is cheaper than the previous subscription costs. The network offers multiple subscription tiers, including options for individual schools or broader access to various sports.

District officials are advising anyone who previously subscribed to Game Vision to watch APS games to cancel those subscriptions to avoid potential recurring charges.

Information on subscription plans and access to the network is available at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/subscribe/retail.
