San Antonito Nurse Named School Nurse of the Year
Robyn Blomberg honored for dedication to student health, well-being.
Robyn Blomberg, a registered nurse at San Antonito Elementary School, has been selected as the Albuquerque Public Schools School Nurse of the Year.
Blomberg, who was chosen by a review committee, was surprised with the honor during a staff meeting on May 6.
"She consistently goes above and beyond in supporting both students and staff, creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels heard and cared for," colleagues noted in their nominations.
Blomberg is recognized for her professional dedication to student health plans and her ability to provide calm, expert medical care in both everyday and emergency situations. Beyond clinical duties, she supports the emotional well-being of her students and acts as a trusted advocate for families within the school community.
