Albuquerque Public Schools
Explore Your Future at the APS College, Career & Tribal Resource Fair
Students, families and community members are invited to connect with 80+ colleges, employers and programs on Sept. 20.
It’s never too early — or too late — to start planning your future.
Since 2011, the Albuquerque Public Schools Indian Education Department has hosted its annual College, Career & Tribal Resource Fair, and this year promises even more opportunities. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Berna Facio Development Center, 3315 Louisiana Blvd. NE.
This free, family-friendly event will feature more than 80 organizations, including in- and out-of-state colleges, apprenticeship and trade programs, branches of the military and tribal resources. Students of all ages are encouraged to attend, along with parents, guardians and community members.
“It's never too early to start planning for your future,” College and Career Resource Counselor Sara Money said. “This event is also a great opportunity for parents or other family members who may be looking for employment opportunities.”
The fair offers something for everyone, whether you’re exploring college options, learning about career pathways, or connecting with tribal and community programs.
