Embrace Yourself, Build Your Future

Empowering young women with confidence and community at the Inner Beauty Summit.

Middle school girls from across Albuquerque Public Schools recently gathered for a day of learning, reflection and empowerment at the Inner Beauty Summit 2026.

Hosted by the Black Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico, the annual summit brings young women together with community leaders to help them build confidence, recognize their self-worth and think about their future.

Throughout the event, students participated in interactive workshops focused on social media literacy, health and wellness, and entrepreneurship. The sessions encouraged students to reflect on their strengths, develop leadership skills, and explore opportunities that could shape their academic and career paths.

The Inner Beauty Summit is designed to create a supportive environment where young women can learn more about themselves while connecting with mentors and community leaders who are invested in their success. By the end of the day, students left with new knowledge, stronger confidence and a clearer sense of the possibilities ahead.
