Posted May 20, 2025, 4:25 PM. Updated May 20, 2025, 5:31 PM.

The event is free and open to individuals of all ages with disabilities.

The crack of the bat and the cheers of the crowd are sounds everyone should experience.

That’s why the Isotopes is once again hosting its Play Ball Adaptive Baseball Clinic, a free event designed to introduce the joy of baseball to individuals of all ages with physical or intellectual disabilities.

The clinic will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, at Roadrunner Little League, 10700 Lagrima de Oro NE. It promises to be a morning filled with fun, learning and community. The event is entirely free and open to anyone eager to participate, regardless of age or ability.

Participants will get a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive and adapted environment. Stations will be set up to teach key skills like pitching, hitting, throwing, baserunning and agility, all with modifications to ensure everyone can join in the fun. Adding to the excitement, Albuquerque Isotopes players will be present to coach and share their love of the game.

Beyond the Isotopes, the event will be supported by Eldorado High School baseball players and dedicated volunteers from the adaptive community, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Plus, participants can refuel after the action-packed morning with a complimentary lunch provided by Chick-fil-A.

This isn’t just about baseball; it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment through sport.

Spaces are limited, so secure your spot today by registering online on the Play Ball Adaptive Baseball Clinic page.
